Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is a well known functional gut disorder that impacts more than 11% of the population worldwide. There is undeniable evidence that IBS not only impacts the gut, but also the brain, as there is significant overlap between IBS and mood disorders such as anxiety and depression. This webinar will take a deep dive into the gut-microbiota-brain axis and how gastrointestinal and mental health is impacted when this connection falls out of balance. It will also address the combination of nutritional and yoga interventions for IBS and how the two may work together as a stronger force in treating this common, yet significantly life-impacting condition.
